This marks a major milestone in the growth of GenAir within the compressed air rental and specialist hire market. With more capital, strategic backing and infrastructure support, we can accelerate investment into our fleet, sustainability technologies (electric/hybrid compressors, low-emission options), and national service coverage.
As part of the deal, Andy Wright (former CEO at Sunbelt Rentals UK) joins GenAir as Chairman, bringing decades of industry leadership to our board.
Moreover, with STAR’s backing, we aim to strengthen our position in specialist compressor hire and compressed air solutions across sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities and more — reinforcing our reputation for reliability, innovation and responsiveness.
