Insights from GenAir: May 2026
As we move through one of the hottest Mays in memory, we thought we’d take the chance to share our latest updates from across GenAir.
Alongside our recent insights and case studies, there is also some exciting news coming up over the next few months as we continue to develop and expand what we offer.
Take a look at the latest from GenAir.
“The results speak for themselves”
Protecting marine life while keeping major infrastructure projects moving isn’t always straightforward… especially when sustainability targets are part of the conversation too.
Our latest case study looks at how electric air compressor hire helped deliver a low-noise, lower-emission bubble curtain solution for a flood defence project, supporting both operational performance and environmental protection.

The right setup matters
Construction and infrastructure projects rarely go exactly to plan, which is why having the right compressed air setup can make a huge difference operationally.
We published an article exploring the key considerations when hiring compressors for construction, infrastructure and groundworks projects, from reliability and efficiency through to site demands and support.
Decisions, decisions…
When it comes to compressor hire, there’s rarely a one-size-fits-all answer, especially when balancing performance, emissions and site practicality.
This guide breaks down the differences between electric and diesel compressors, helping businesses understand which option best suits their operational requirements.
“Energy transition projects demand absolute reliability and flexibility from the equipment supporting our operations. We needed a compressed air solution that could perform consistently across multiple sites and challenging conditions.
GenAir’s solution was straightforward to deploy, highly reliable, and backed by strong technical support, giving us confidence that our teams could focus on delivering critical infrastructure safely and efficiently.”

A special ‘Happy Birthday’!
Last month, we celebrated a very special birthday at GenAir, as Adam Grice turned 50.
Adam has been based in our depot in Wednesbury for the past five years as one of our fantastic service engineers. He is known for how helpful he is to his colleagues as well as being the life and soul of our events, never failing to make everyone laugh.
Cheers and beers to 50 years!
Meet Ben
Ben Robinson is our CEO and is celebrating a year with GenAir this month!
His focus is simple… helping customers keep critical operations running with clean, reliable and sustainable temporary air solutions delivered nationwide.
Outside of work, Ben loves playing squash, watching rugby and cricket (having previously been a keen player of both) and is a member of the Barmy Army. He’s even been spotted on TV singing Jerusalem in India, Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa. Ben’s son is a keen beekeeper, so he likes to help out with that from time to time too!
Thanks for reading this month’s insights.
